Joshua and Brittany are a dynamic duo and the perfect couple to be leading our youth into the “more” of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Together, they have been serving MorningStar Fellowship Wilmington for the last three years, both with the leaders of the kids ministry, as kids church teachers and youth Launch Leaders, as well as with our worship team (Joshua). Parents of two passionate and energetic young men, Noah and Braxton, and a beautifully sassy little girl, Micah Mae! They are also expecting another addition in August 2019!

Brittany has called Wilmington her home for the last nine years. She’s originally from Orange County, NC where her family is still involved in the agricultural industry. She has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and she loves working with her husband at MFW as well as through their small business, My Home Hats. Being in Wilmington gives her the opportunity to play beach volleyball, one of her favorites! But just being with family is what makes her heart come alive.

Joshua has been a Wilmingtonian for the last 29 years but is originally from Westminster, Maryland. He thoroughly enjoys being a youth Launch and Kids Ministry leader and a part of the worship ministry, but what he loves about MFW the most is, “the ability to be myself and who God created me to be with no pressure to be anything else”. For Joshua, the best parts about Wilmington are the opportunities he has to watch the moonrise at the beach and the sunset downtown. When he’s not doing that, he’s soaking in the Lord’s pleasure while surfing, playing tennis, or enjoying a cup of coffee while reading a good book.
Both Joshua and Brittany are an integral part of MorningStar Fellowship Wilmington. They love being a part of MFW because of the diversity of its congregation, it’s commitment to community, and that the people have an “ability to forsake all that’s comfortable to pursue the Lord.” No one is excluded, everyone is welcome!
